PREVIOUS EXHIBITIONS.
. ( INTERVIEWS WITH SOME OF THE PROMOTERS. Though we are now engaged in preparations for the more extended International Exhibition, at. which the pro-.; ducts of t'lio world will bo seen, the record of industrial exhibitions of the past is of considerable importance as'i showing the advance made since then. In addition to thestatistical information contained in the review of past exhibitions given elsewhere, tho interviews with Messrs Robert Allan and W. W. Charters'.will, no doubt be read with, interest. Both gentlemen have been actively and prominently connected wit& several exhibitions, the former having been the president of the last exhibition —the Jubilee one—held here. It ie matter for regret that Mr A.-G. HowLand, ■ who lias taken &o prominent a part in our local exhibitions from the lirat, m -too inddeposed to bo able to give his recollections of them. ,
