♦ . : The Lyttelton Regatta Committee met on Fnday. The Mayor (Mr S..R. Webb) presiding. Three tenders ior tho right to print and publish tho official programme were received, and that of Messrs C. HWagetaff and Company, of £20, was accepted. / A letter was received from tho Canterbury Rowing Association, acknowledging receipt from the committee of the guarantee to pay over tho first and eecond-prizes in the eenior pair oar race of 19U4 to tho Canterbury and Akaroa Cubs respectively. In view of this, the Association granted permission to tho committee to publish and circulate the programme as already approved by the Association. The letter wae received. The Lyttelton' Pirates' Amateur Athletic Ciub forwarded a programme of the swimming races to be held in the dock on Regatta Day. The programme wae received. Alter appointing officials and various cub committees, tho meeting adjourned until Saturday evening next.
