Tho third round of competition matches, under the auspices of tho Canterbury Cricket Association, was brought to a conclusion on Saturdaj , , when tho weather was beautifully fine, and tho wickets in good order tor run-get-ting. Most interest in the First Grade oonteste was taken in tho match between West Christchurch and Limvood, a largo number of spectators assembling to wicness the gamej which ended in an easy win for the former by aoi innings to spare. Riccarton. al&o gained an innings victory over St. Albans, and at Sydenham the local team beat East Christchuroli by tho small margin of 8 runs. Detads:— FIRST GRADE MATCHES.
