THE MANCHURIAN ARMY.
' SITUATION INCREASINGLY SERIOUS.
(Received December loth, 10.17 p.m.) , ST. PETERSBURG, December 15. The Czar lias ordered the.officials at Vihm to send immediately to the Baltio ' provinces every - available soldier ■to crush the Republican movement. The Railway Workers' Union telegraphed to the Manohurian Army:— "Rely on us, we will see you brought buck to assist in Russia's liberation, even , if we have to declare a general strike." . The army's reply was enthusiastic in tone.
General Linievitch's last telegram, . marked urgent, etated thai he was unable to combat the spread of revolu- '. tionary propaganda. Already half the army was mutinous, and tho reserves wore demanding immediate repatriation, and rejecting papor money. The United Peasant Workers have ' ewom to boycott every Government xc-Teouo-bearing undertaking.
