Sir, —I am much obliged to your correspondent, "A "Friend of Israel," for calling attention to'tho above, but no is incorrect in saying that the sum of sixty guineas only has been subscribed in Canterbury. ~He will be glad to know that I hove already remitted to £150, and that, there is a considerable sum stiil in my hands to be remitted shortly.
