Compared with September, combings merinos are at par to a farthing dearer, fine crossbred combings a farthing to halfpenny, and coarse halfpenny to three farthings dearer; clothing is unchanged. New Zealand Frozen Mutton—Canterbury, light 3j.d, medium«6id, heavy 3Jd; Dunedin and Southland, 3Jd. North Island best, 3Jd. Lamb—Canterbury, light unchanged, heavy 4d; Dunedin and Southland and North Island, none offering. New Zealand fores 2jd, ox hinds unchanged. River Plate sheep, heavy unchanged, light 3 3-16 d; beef, ox fores 2|d; hinds, unchanged. Tin plates, i.e. coke 12s 7id, i.e. charcoal 13s 7jd.

Messrs Dalgoty and Company, Limited, havo received the following cablo message from their I-iondon office, under date 11th inst.: —"Wo expect a riso of Jd to id per lb in prices of frozen mutton and lamb next week. The Copenhagen official quotation is higher by 3 kroner. Tlio total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for week ending 4th inst. amounted to
