FIRES.
The Brigade turned out in response to an alarm of fire about a quarter to nine o'clock last night. It was discovered that an old "shed on the premises of Messrs Taylor and Oakley, in a nam street, was alight, but several buckets of water were sufficient to extinguish the fire. Very little damage was done. (THUS ASSOCIATION TXUSOBAK.) GlSßOßNE,,September 6. Redstone's stables at Hikuwai, East Coast, were destroyed by fire, four coach horses, valued at over £100, being burnt.
