THE CADET MOVEMENT.
(raass Assocunoir vsuoaaii.) DUNEDIN, May, 25. A parade of three battelions of afihool cadete was held this afternoon, whan 1061 were inspected by tha Premier, the boys going through tho movamanta oroditably. In addressing the ofllcara and cadeV the Premier referred to tba fact that nothing had impressed tha Duke of York more during his visit to the colony than the oadet movement. It was his intention to introduce legislation under which the officers or school cadet corps would have a. standing under the Defence Act. Conoeasiouß would also be made in respect to shoot, ing and other matters.
