NOTES AND MEMORANDA.

A lantern lecture "The Model Factory of the World," will be given by Mr C. F. White on Thursday next in the Choral Hall. The following members will give presessional addresses this evening:—Mr C. Lewis, at Spreydon; Mr W. W. Tanner, at the Phillipstown School; Mr G. Laurenson, at Selwyn street. A general meeting of Licensed Victuallers will be held to-day at 3 p.m. in the new office of the Licensed Victuallers' Association, Manchester street. The meeting for the inauguration of a gun club for Sumner will be held at the Cave Rock Hotel at eight o'clock to-night.
