SALE OF A WAIKATO ESTATE

(PRESS ASSOCIATION* TELEGRAM.) HAMILTON, May 23. Thomas Stone's Woodland estate of 17,000 acres, stock, and plant have been sold, C B. Buxton, of Palmcrston North, taking 10,000 acres, and the balance with the homestead, being taken by two Wanganui investors. Tho prico paid was a considerable advance on that given by Mr Stone two years ago, and constitutes the largest 6ale which has taken placo in the Waikato for somo years. Several other large properties aro expected to change hands shortly.
