OATES, LOWRY and CO. fully realise that a sale of this character will probably result in a direct loss of about £200, but they trust the huge advertisement thus obtained—for everyone will be talking for months about this sale,—will be returned fourfold in ft large demand for the famous ATALANTA CYCLES in the future. One great and important feature about this PUBLIC BENEFIT SALE at Malcolm and Co.'s Auction Rooms, is that EVERY BICYCLE to be offered is BRAND NEW, of the most modern design, and the highest grade, and the equal of any other first-class Bicycle in the market. All are fitted with Westwood rims, and vulcanised tyres supplied by the Dunlop Co., roller chains (half-inch pitch), the fashionable upturned handle-bars, latest saddles, equipped with all extras. In order that everyone may be suited with Machines to suit their height, the aesortment of Bicycles to be offered will include every height of frame from 21 to 26 inches, and will comprise:— 10 LADIES' BICYCLES, with fixed wheels and front rim brakes. 10 LADIES' BICYCLES, with free wheels, and two rim brakes. 10 GENTS' BICYCLES, with fixed wheels, no brakes. 10 GENTS* BICYCLES, with free wheels, and two rim brakes.* There is absolutely no question as to the high quality and popularity of these Miachines, and ss an evidence of this, it may be mentioned that 8000 ATALANTA BICYOLES 8000. Every Bicycle will be guaranteed free from defects and thoroughly sound, and a printed guarantee, endorsed by Oates, Lowry and Co., covering a period of six months, handed to each purchaser on day of sale. 2. Payment must be spot cash on delivery. Reservation will be made for buyers not in possession of sufficient cash io pay a deposit of £2, and balance within ten days on taking delivery of the bicycle. S. To prevent dealers and speculators from securing all the bargains, with the object of re-selling at handsome profits, not mors than two bicycles will be sold to one person. 4. Special efforts will be made to provide room for intending buyers in the sale rooms, but intending purchasers are strongly advised to attend early, as a large attendance is expected, and any unable t» obtain admission may be haunted with remorse and regret 5.
