SALE OF AYRSHIRE CATTLE.
(FKESS ASSOCIATION TELW3IU._.) WELLINGTON, May 24. Mr Jas. Kyle's herd of Ayrshire
cattle at Gear Island was sold by auotion. A representative gathering of breeders was present. Best cows brought from 20 to 30 guineas, older cows 10 to 17 guineas, heifers 9 to 13 guineas, yearling heifers 5 to 10 guineas, calves 8 to 6 guineas, yearling bulla 6 to 9 guineas, and calves 4 to 5 guineas.
