A FALSE PASSPORT.

CURIOUS SEQUEL TO A BOMB EXPLOSION. TWO ENGLISHMEN CHARGED WITH CONSPIRACY. LONDON, May 24. The Treasury authorities charged Arthur McCullough, actor, and Harold Brnilsford, author and journalist, at Bow street with conspiracy to obtain a passport by means of false pretences. It is alleged that defendants gave a passport to a man bearing the name of McCullough, who was killed in a St. Petersburg hotel in February by a bomb explosion. The Treasui-y exonerated defendants from all knowledge that violence was contemplated. Brailsford admitted obtaining three passports at the instance of a member of tho Russian revolutionary movement, receiving an assurance that they were intended for peaceful propagandist purposes. Tlie hearing was adjourned.
