The przsencc of eruptives isa nvest 'hopeful sign, is rocks of this nature are, a* a rule, intimately connected with large metalliferous veins. Wilson'a Reward is practically the; only Teef iu'which any development'work has been done. This lies about -1300 feet above the basic cirque, and is practically on a level with Browning's Pas*. It it not correctly a definite vein, but * mors ,*>rer;.«f".T uintralised tone, which narrows and widaos and extsnds for at least 4CO feet, .it is«ts,t;_ that at its widest part the width of the reel is not under 21 feet, and only narrow ridge* of country rocks occur within tM»* distance. This great width, however, is by no means constant, and normally it i* much narrower. The quartz i» very ravopurable jn7 appearance. Free crystalline «old ;i» distinctly and iron" pyrites, which is the common % mineral within.the quarts, is, it is said, very* •uriferou*.
