GOOD FRIDAY SPORTS.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PBKSS. Sir, —Will you kindly grant mo space to inform your contributor, " Disgusted," that his ill-natured attack upon the promoters of the Good Friday afternoon's cycling carnival does not by any means represent the true feelings of the majority of our citizens, who feel that the cycling body are deserving of commendation for providing an afternoon's innocent and healthy entertainment. Having discussed the matter pretty freely with many of our most representative citizens, I am in a very fair position to understand their opinions on the subject, which I nave but merely echoed here.—Youra, etc., SPOKES.
