FIRES.
(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WAIMATE, April 19. The residence of Mr F. L. Barker, about four miles from town, was burned to the ground at about 7 o'clock this evening. Nothing was saved exoept some plate. Mr and Mrs Barker were absent from home.
