NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The pulpit of the East Belt Methodist Church will ba occuoied to-morrow morning and evening b*y the Rev. Mr Dixon. M.A., of the Presbyterian Church.
Mr J:' T. Tillock, of Sydney, announces elsewhere that he is a candidate for a directorship of the Mutual Life Association of Australasia.
A notification regarding the special train for the Culverden stock sale on March 9th appears elsewhere. Dr. Bradshaw commences his course of lectures on music in connection with Canterbury College on Monday next, March} 6th. Courses of lectures on English Literature will be delivered at Canterbury College. That upon "The History of the Study of Character in English Literature" will be delivered on alternate Fridays at 5 p.m., commencing on Friday, March 10th. Two courses of lectures upon English literature between 1800 and 1850 will be delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays at noon, commencing on Wednesday, March Bth and Saturday, March 11th. The first lectures of each course are free.
