■» ■ Intermittent rain and a biting Kind spoilt tho attendance at the Canterbury Agricultural College sports yesterday, but otherwise the ev«nf was an entire success. Sport throughout was keen and interesting, while tho obstacle race and the graisy pig chase created no little hilarity. The morning was showery, but alter lunch tho rain cleared, the sun broke through the clouds, and the bright mu-sio of the Garrfcon Band supplied the one needful touch of gaiety. The ground waa in capital condition, and Messrs W. J. ■Colebatch, L. Hamilton, J. D. Macaush, E. A. Maude, and F. Woolridge, the students' committee, who devoted their sparo time and energy to preparing it, deserved praise for their work. Everything was /admirably arranged by the officials, and refreshments were difipensed in tho college. • The officials were ac follows: —President, Mr W. Low Tie; judges, Messrs Low-i-io, G. Gray, H.
