Since the opening of the present eeason, at the beginning of December, the export. , } of Australian wheat and flour to destinations beyond the Commonwealth, says the "Australasian," have reached tho total of about 30,935,686 bushels, of wheat and 873,872 sacks of flour. Reducing the flour to tho equivalent in wheat, tho totals are together equal to'about 35,130,271 builiols of wheat. Tho value of the exporte may bo estimated approximately at £5,554,000. There hue, however, been but little wheat offering during the week, owing to the holiday on Wednesday, and wet weather interfering with business. Several transactions have taken place between merchants and millers, but the only line reported to have been .purchased, from the grower was 1000 bushels each of Pearl and Tuscan, and 500 bushels of {Hunter's nit 3s 7Ad f.o.b. Tho export demand for oats has ceased for the time being, as shippers have now all they require for (shipment by tho Banffshire. In other branches of business there is a quiet tone, and no changes to report. The following are the current priceepaid to farmers, free of commission, except where otherwise specified: — Wheat—Pearl and Tuscan 3s 5d to 3s 6d, Hunter's 3s 4d, at country stations.
