MANY GOOD POINTS.
It haii long been customary for nevepaper readers to regard Saturday.* " Truth " ac a more than usually attractive production, and to-dare editions will maintain the high standard hitherto «t. There are many special characteristics that might be cited, but the enumeration, of only a few of them is all that « necessary to "show that "Truth" to-day will not be lacking in anything that goes towards aiaking an up-to-date and high-class modern newspaper. Its Wellington and Dunedin representatives trill supply their weekly letters, which will be as bright and readable as previously. During the week a Brindisi mail arrived in Chrirtchuixh, and so the column of "Recent
Happenings" trill contain particulars of many evente, portentous and interesting, that readers will have co far had no knowledge of. Similarly complete will be the "London Letter"—composed of lightlywritten paragraphs of comment on important events of the day. The absorbing serial, "Dr. Dumany'e Wife," will advance another stage, and great care has been taken in the selection of short stories suitable for all tastes. Details of the afternoon's racing (New Zealand and Australian) and local cricket and other sporte will be eet forth in the eight o'clock edition.
