ESCAPE OF A PRISONER.
(TJIKS ASSOCIATION Trt-WSRAJCI BLENHEIM. July 14. The man Finlay, who escaped from the prisoners' camp at Dumgree, is still at large. H« is dressed in civilian's clothes, nnd it is believed that he has been seen. but not recognised, by scfttlers in th* Awatere district. He was not eeen by tho warden leaving the camp, but bis absence was discovered about seven o'clock. The fugitive was serving three years, htnvi sentenced at Timaru for assault. H<> had completed about eighteen months of the term. Fintay escaped from custody on a previous occasion from another place.
