PENNY POSTAGE TO AUSTRALIA.
STATEMENT BY LORD STANLEY. - United Press Association—By Electric Telegjr-ph—Oapyright. (Received June 9th, 10.33 p.m.) LONDON, June 9. In the House of Commons Lord Stanley, in reply to a question, said that penny postage of outward letters to Australia was not yet. practicable. Nothing was wanting on his part to effect an arrangement with the Commonwealth.
