NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Mr T. E. Ta.vlor will gyre an address to-night, at 7.30, at the meeting of the Canterbury College Engineering Society, Canterbury College, on "The Wnimakariri Scheme." An exhibition of one hundred oil paintings, by G. E. Butler, of Dunedin, whose picture, "Jlemories," b now being exhibited, at the Roynl Academy," London, will be open at Mr Chns. Clark's rooms daily, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. On and after to-morrow a tram will leave. Papanui on Sundays at 5.50 p.m.
