CLEARING SALE,
Messrs H. Matson and Co. held a clearing sal-* at East Oxford yesterday, on account of Mr J. 8.. Pearson, who has sold his property. There was a large attendance, and all classes of stock and implements sold well. Sheep—l 92 fat wethers made 20s 6d, 100 forward halfbred wethers 18s 4d, 25 fat ewes 16s 3d, 75 fat lambs 15e Id, 72 halfbred lambs 12s, 130 breeding ewes 1(_ Bd, 420 lambs 12s sd, 786 (wo and four-tooth wethers 17« 6d. Cattle—Fat cows £6 10s, heifers £5 15s, springers up to £6 10s. Horses £17 to £29 10s, yearling filly by Victor £12 ss. Implements cold well.
