DUNEDIN, April 23. The senior football matches commenced to-day. Alhambra, last year's champions, made a draw with Pirates, there being no score. Kaikorai, who were second last'year, were put down by Southern by 10 points to 9. Zingari-Puchmond beat University by 13" to 3, and Union beat Dunedin by 12 to 6.
