Christehurch defeated High School Old Boys by 4 points to 3. after a well-con-tested game. MeClutchie kicked a goal from a mark for Christehurch, and Guthrie scored a try for the School. Merivale beat Canterbury College by 5 to 3. Kissell kicked a goal from a free kick for the College, and afterwards Merivale obtained a try, which was converted. A protest was entered by the College on the ground tliat the score was obtained after the conclusion of time. Linwood won their match against Richmond by 10 points to 3. For the winners Ellis and Leader obtained tries, which Moore converted. Richmond's try was obtained by Schou. Mr Merriman was referee. Sydenham beat Albion by 3 points to nil.
