At Oxford on Thursday there was an entry of 4000 sheep,, consisting principally of fat lambs. There was a good attendance of buyers, and competition, was very keen for all classes. Nearly every line was sold at satisfactory prices. Fat ewes brought from I4s to 17» 6d, fat lambw 13s 6d to 17s sd, fat wethers 18s 6d to 225, maiden ewes 17s 6d to 19s, store lambs lis 7d to 13s, young breeding ewes 13s 9d to 17s sd, aged do. 10s 6d to 16s Id, store wethers 14s 6d to 17s 3d, merino ewes 4s 3d to 10s 4d. Cattle and pigs sold at full market rates.
