A FUNCTION IN LONDON.
(Received November 27th, 10.29 p.m.) LONDON, November 27. On the American Societies' thanksgiving day a banquet was held in London. It was marked by further manifestations of goodwill between the two countries. Tlie American Ambassador and Mr W. JBrjan (the Presidential candidate) expressed hopes for a general extensiou of international'arbitration and the consolidation of peace.
