AQUATICS.

At a meeting of the New Brighton Athletic Club held on Wednesday the programme for the aquatic carnival was passed, and it waa decided to print 1000 copies. The officials for the various sporU were appointed. The secretary reported that sufficient donations had been received to cover the prize money. The following crews have been selected to represent the Akaroa Boating Club at the Akaroa Regatta on December 16th: — Senior Pairs. J, Woodill and C. Goodwin; vSenior Double Sculls, J. Woodill and E. Noonau; Junior Fours, G. Whelch, J. Glynan, M. Kearney, T. Penlington; Junior Doable Sculls, M. Kearney and J. Glynan, and E. Noonan and T. Penlingtnii; Maiden Fours, B. Henning, F. Westenia, E. Woodill. J. Brown j Maiden Double Sculls. C. Goodwin and L. Ditely ; Youths' Four, W. Munro, L. Hayloek, H. Austen, W. Jacobson; Youths" Double Sculls. W. Munro and W. Jacobson. and K. Woodill and L. Huyloek. It has been decided to enter a Senior Four at the Christchurch Regatta, on Boxing Day, the Cure Boating Club having lent a best and best for the occasion.

The following crews have entered for the Trial Double Sculls of the Canterbury Rowing Club:— Hadfleld and Wat«m, A. H. Barker and Francis, A. Bushell and Britten, Orr and Troup, Fell and Willcox, Murray and ' Pareonson, Stewart and Olliver, Lethaby and Hursthouse, Eggleston and Doughus, Fitch and Jackson, Tudhope and Grant, Mowat and Morris, Currie and N. Guthrie.
