GERALDINE.
There vas a good attendance at Geraldine yesterday, when tliere was a moderate entry of sheep, a> large entry of cattle, and a small entry of pigs. Cattle sold very well, and there was a keen demand for pigs. The entry of sheep was only about 2000, which met with good competition. There was a drop in the price of dairy cows. Fat steers brought £9 12s 6d i? £9 10s, fat cowe £7 to £7 10s, springing cows £8 to £12, heifers £5 10s to £9, 18 months old cattle £3 5s to £4 la, cows in profit £5 6s to £7, one choice springer £12. Two-tooth wethers and maiden ewes (shorn) sold at 13e, lie and 14s 3d, ewes and lambs (all counted) in the wool 12s to 12s 7d, ditto shorn 10s to 12e, fat ewes (shorn) 13s 6d to 15s 6d, fat wethers 18s, merino ewes and lambs (all counted) 7s 2d. Pigs—Small stores 18s to £1, porken 20s to 26s 6d.
