The Tramway Board will hold ita usual meeting at 4 p.m. to-day. Entries for tiio New Zealand Wheel Race meeting at Lancaster Park on December 16th, close on Saturday next, at tho Chriatchnrch Cycling Club lioiute. A jumble eale and ealo of work in connection with tit. Luke's will be held in the schoolroom, to-day, at 2 p.nf. Tlw Public School Athletic Association sports take place at Lancaster • Park on Saturday afternoon, nnd will include a grand display of school cadets massed and in review order.
A s«le of work in connection with St. Peter's, Woolekm, will be opened by the Mayor of Woolston to-day, at 2 p.m. A ealo of \rork will be opened at 6 p.m. to-day in St. MiohaelV* schoolroom, by Mra Jalius. Th«re will be a number of «talU containing varied gootle ami articles. In the evening musical items will be Riven by Mesda.m*3 Burns and Wilsou, Mioses Ikrllm Julius and Muud Graham, Messrs Bowring, Adams and Haggitt. A number of. fancy dances will a!«o be given. Th« «tatutory meeting , of the Hospital Board will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd, ofc 10.30 a.m.. when the newlyelected Board will appoint, their chairman.
