A RICH STRIKE. .United Press Association—By Electric Telej-»ph—Ctopyrigh*. COOLGARDIE, November 23. The Hampton Plains Syndicate, holding a lease near the town, has made a rich strike. It is reported that they obtained 450 ounces of smelted gold for three weeks' work, taking 180 ounces 'from six dishes, including 69 ounces from one dish of wash. The country has been pegged out in the vicinity.
