A SPECIAL LOAN for the purposes of the undertaking hcreundermentioned, and to see* the consent thereto of the ratepayers of the RICCARTON-SOCKBURN Sub-district of tha Christ church Tramways District. .- 1. The undertaking to be engaged in is:— To make and equip an Electric Tramway lint ' commencing at tho junction of the Riccartoß and Lincoln roads, thence along the Riccarton road and the South road to the Sockburt railway station, thence by way of the Race-.: course" and other roads to the Yaldhurat road, thence by that road to the Riccarton road,. connecting with tho line along that road at iti junction with tho Yaldhurst road, with BUcn 1 extensions as the Board may think fit, and - to purchase such land, machinery and .plant and erect such buildings as may be deamed necessary for the purposes aforesaid. - ._' 2.
