Mr Morgan has announced his new Government, and Mr Philp that he has been chosen leader of the Opposition. Mr Cowley was elected Speaker after an acrimonious debate, wherein Mr Morgan \v\is charged with intriguing against the Philp Government while he was still Speaker. The Government party, composed of ten members who followed the Philp Ministry, and the whole of the Labour opposition and Independent members, has a majority of twelve.
