A telegram received iu town yesterday 3tates that tho Grcymouth bar is in a bad state. Tho contractors who have the repairing of the Tyser steamer Xiwaru in hand are making satisfactory progress with the work, and expeot to have the vessel completed well within the contract time of sis weeks.
