WAIMAKARIRI RIVER BOARD.
« — T3ie ordinary meeting of the South Waimakariri River Board was held yeeterday. Present —Messrs R. W. England (chairman), Samuels, Perynian, Gknville, Burgees, Money, and Bow den. ■ The report of the overseer was considered and adopted. A report was read from Mr Zeal, the overseer regarding the arrangement as to the water through the reserves. It was resolved that t/ue secretary write with reference to it. A transfer of lease from Mr Wright to Mr Lissatnan was approved. A letter was read from seVeral of the tenants of the Board, urging that the Ancihor fencing should be ueed in fencing the reserves of the Board. On the motion of Mr Money, the matter was deferred till next meeting, the overseer to furnieh a report. Accounts amounting to £215 7s 6d were passed for payment.
