Tho Hawea. with 1600 sheep, arrived from Napier at C.40 a.m. yesterday. • She left for the Bluff direct at 8.20 a.m. The Ronga sailed for Havelock tit 8 a.m. yesterday. Captain Stevens is in command) of the Hawea. _^ The Perthshire's departure for. Timaru has been postponed itill this oftennoon. The Southern Isle ia in charge of Captain Watohlin. The Primus sailed for Capetown at 9.30 a.m. yesterday. Messrs William Wood and Co. are agente for the Bracmar, and Messrs Pitcaithly and Co. port agents. The Gracchus, -which is to leave Lyttelton for South Airioa about May 19th,- left Melbourne on May 6th. Tile Star of Australia is to leave the Bluff on Saturday next for London. The Mokoia will come from Dunedin to be docked at Lyttelton to-day. The Kildalton, which is expected to arrive at any moment from London, has ICSO tons of cargo for Lyttelton. 780 for Dunedin and about 800 to be transhipped from Lyttelton to other ports. The Penguin left for Wellington, Nelson, and Pieton at 4.50 p.m. yesterday. The Wakanui is expected from Wellington to-morrow.
The 8.8. Invercargill arrived at Timaru from Stewart Island early yesterday morning, and after landing 63.000 ft of timber she got away last night for Duaedin. The steamer Ovalau reached iffimaTU yesterday morning from the West Coast, with a cargo of coal. It is understood that this boat fcas been sold, and will not again visit Timaru.
