Mails close for the following places is under subject to the necessary alterations:— Mails per express to Dunedin and South close daily at 10.30 a.m.; la.to fee, i.e., letters bearing 3d additional stamp, 10.40 n-m.; also on mail van up to 11 a.m.; books and newspapers, 10 a.m. MONDAY, MAY 11. For Northern Ports and Westport. per Penguin, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p_l.; guard- vau, 4 p.m. tr.'.in. FRIDAY, MAY 15. For Australian States, per Mokoia, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, i p.m. train.
Mails for South Africa close at _J*iboui—i on May 11th and 271— Mails for Rarotonga, and Tahiti and Penhryn Island, per Taviuni, close at Auckland on May 19th, at 4 p.m. Mails for Fiji, per Moara, dose at Auckland on May 20th, at 11 a.m. Mails for South America, via Rio and Tcneriffe, and parcel post parcels for United Kingdom, per Athenio, close at Wellington about 14th inst. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Hauroto, close at Auckland, June 3rd. Mails for Australia, etc., per Warrimoo, close at Bluff, Monday, 3.45 p.m.; and per Westralia, at Auckland, Monday, 4.30 p.m. Mails for United States, Vancouver, etc., United Kingdom, etc., specially addressoi, via Vancouver, close here on 17th inst.
