_~ , R'EEFTON, May 10. The Manager of the Big River Coiiipan-'a mine reports for tho week:—The uprise lias been put up aft. making a total from No. 7 level of 55ft. In tho last end of the uprise, there has been one foot of stone. The ground keeps liard but; tho track is widening, and the walls aro Jft apart, with water coming from tho back of the uprise Tho Feddorson's Company's dredge has been .working in very rough ground. The Kold obtained wins a Tougher sample, than has been that for seme weeks, and tho dredgemaster is cf opinion that the returns will improve from this out.
