New Plymouth—Wind, S.W., fresh; baro., 20.85; therm., 51; fine, sea heavy. Castlepoint—Wind, S.W., light; bare, 20.78; therm., 55; fine, sea inoaer&te. Wellington—Wind, S., light; bare, 29.75; therm., &4; fine. West port—Wind, W.S.W., light; baro., 20.80; therm., 46; showery; sea. considerab.e. Kaikoura— Wind, S.W., light; baro., 20.75; therm., 54; fine, sea rough outside. Oaruaru—Wind, S., light,: .baro., 29.73; baro., 48; cloudy, sea smooth. Bluff—Wind, W., fresh; baro., 29.72; therm., 46; showery. Captain Edwin telegraphed:—"Moderate to strong winds from between sou'.h and southwest and west at all places northward of Napier and Wanganui, with rising barometer; and moderate to strong from Ijetween north and w*rt and south-west elsewhere, with falling bsjrometor."
