RANGIORA.
There was a large attendance at the Central yards, Rangiora, on Tuesday. The entry cc__ted of 4009 sheep, 100 head of cattle, and 90 pigs. Prices were:—Fat lambs 12s 6d to 13s 2d, fat ewes 10s 4d to 12s -Id, fat merino ewes 12s 6d four and six-tooth halfbred ewes to 13s 4d, twotooth- ewes to 13e, wethers lis 6d to 12s 9d, full mouth breeding ewes 7» 6d to lis 3d) sound mouth merino ewes 6s Id to 9s, boilers 2s 6d to 3s 4d. Cattle—Beef equal to 27s 6d to 30s per 1001b, fat bullocks to £16, springers to £8 10s, dry cows £6 5s to £7 ss, dairy cows to £8 15s, young cattle £3 to £3 17s 6d. calves 25s to ?£s. Pigs—Baconers 30s to 47s 6d, porkers —• to 55s 6d, weaners 12s to 19s 6d, suckers 4s 6d to 10s 6d. In the Progress yards, two-tooth wethers made 8s 9d, sound mouth ewes 8s 2d, twotooth ewes 9s Bd. Draught horses £9 10s to £22 10s, light harness horses £5 2s 6d to £18. A line of store pigs from Gisborne averaged £1 7s 9d per head. In the produce yards woolly sheepskins realised ls lOd to'2s lid, medium do. Is lOd to 2s sd, lighter sorts la to Is sd, pelts ls 6d to 2s sd, merino wool 6d lb, crossbred do. 3d to 3,d lb. locks and pieces 3d to lid, fat lid. Poultry-Renters 4s 6d pair, hens 2s 6d to 3s, pullets 2s 6d to 3s, duckß 2s 6d to 3s 9d, chick wheat 2s Sd to 5s 6d, milling wheat 3s 4d bushel. Partridge peas 3s 6d, potatoes 4s 6d to 5s 6d sack, apples ls 9d to 2s 6d per case, onions 6d per string, oatsheaf chaff 50s to 55s ton, straw do. 30s, bran 6s sack, barley 3s bushel, feed oats ls 7d to Is 9d.
