KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
At tho fortnightly meeting of the" Kaiapoi Borough Council there were present— The Major (Mr Daly), Crs. Bug,,-Parn-ham, Black we 11, Pearce, Eagle, Keet'ey. and Midgley. A 'tone of scarlatina was reported ouitsido ths borough. It was decided to attend to the Dale street footpath, and tar the bridges, also to order 100 yds of metal for the streets. The receipts were £109 8s 4cl, and .present overdraft £49 16.1 9d. Accounts amounting to £20 16s 9d were passed; for payment. li> was stated that wu'bscri-ptions for the baths were coming in freely.
