WAIMATE.

At the Waimate County saleyards on Friday, there was an entry of some 5000 sheep, and a good attendance of farmers and buyers. Prices were as follows: — Fat wethers (light weights) 16s 3d, fat lambs 13s lld to 13s 9d, fat ewes (butchers' eortt>) from 10s 2d to lLs 9d, four-tooth three-quarter-bred ewes 16s, two, four and six-tooth do. 13s lld, four and six-tooth full mouth half and three-quarter-bred ewos from 12s 7d to 14s 9d, full mouth ewes os 6d to 13s, cull lambs 5s lld to Is lOd, a small pen of old ewes 5s 3d.
