There was a large yarding of stock at the Ashburton tale yesterday. Prices were as follows:—Store cattle—Dry cows £4 17s 6il, 18 mom lis cattle £3 to £5 ss. Fat cattle—Heifers £5 5s to £6 2s 6d, /steers £5 5s to ±15 '7s 6d, cows £5 7s 6d to £6 8s Pat, sltoep—Crossbred butchers' owes 13s to 15s, merino ewes 6s 9d to 10s, four and six-toot It crossbred ewes 11« 3d, lambs & 9d to 12s 6d, four-tooth ciwsbred ewes Pis to 15s sd, freezing wet Ik-is 16s 9d. Siore sheep—Crossbred ews 10s 7d to 13--> 6d, np-J crossbred ewes 2s 6d to 1C« 7d, two-tooth do 10s 6d to 14s. lambs 5s 9cl to lCs 6d, two and four-tooth crossbred wethers lis od to 13s lid.
