About t-ro *honsTd attended the Hibernian sports. The -MflyU Handicap was won by O'Connor, and tbe Hn'f-mi.e Handicap by J. Odlin. The n-ost event of the day was a tu?-of-war. in which a team from the Gear Meat works defoated a team of blue jacketi from the Royal Arthur. The wre«tlinj event was won l>y M. Ho?an. The harbour excursion attracted a large number of the public. A strong: wind blew all day in the city.
