ASHBURTON.
There waa a large gathering at tho Asnburton Domain Oval yesterday to witness the tot. Patnck s Day aports. It blew very hard outside and in epite of the greet shelter afforded by the well-grown trees the wind was at times troublesome to tie cyclists. Au attractive programme of forty-three events wag gone through. The chief attraction was the motor cycle race, for which, mere were lour competitors, the winner • being B H. Clark, w,tii L.
