Lamb—Canterbury light 6d, heavy sjd; Dunedin and Southland, 5Jd; North Island (new season's), 5 11-16 d. New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201b per quarter, fair average quality, ox fores 3id, hinds 4Jd. River Plate mutton heavy 3|d, light 3£d; lambs 5Jd. River Pkte beef, fores 3gd, hinds 3 13-16 d. Wool—Merinos touched the highest price of the series. Crosebreds are firm at late rates. To date 54,514 bales have been catalogued, and 49,879 balee sold. The sales included the Revels clip at 7d, the Titi clip at 6jd, and the Lambrook clip at 6|d.
