WOODVILLE, March 4.
Edward Gerard, u> .recent arrival from Queensland, has been committed for trial on a charge of stealing, at -the Woodville wees, two five pound notes from the pockeb of Henry R»m»den, storekeeper, of Martinborouglu John Gray wae charged with offering a bribe to Ramsden to withdraw the prosecution. He a!so was committed) for trial, though Rfjnsden declared that Gray had never suggested that he should not give evidence.
