ENGLAND AND VENEZUELA.
LORD ROSEBERY ON THE ANGLO-
GERMAN ALLIANCE.
United Press Associa-tion—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 4th, 9.29 a.m.) LONDON, March 3. Lord Roeebery, speaking on Lord Tweedmouth's motion, in reference to Venezuela, said that the co-operation of Britain and Germany was unnecessary. The fact that coercion was resolved upon before approaching Colonel Hay, the United Stabes Secretary of State, was not in accordance with the comity of nations. The motion was eventually withdrawn.
