(PBESS ASSOCIATION* TELEGRAM.) DUNEDIN, February 18The adjonrned hearing of tho petition for an inquiry into the option poll in the Waikouaiti electorate was called before Major Keddell. S.M., to-day at Palinereton, Mr Bailey, who appeared for iiie petitioners, intimated that it was not proposed' to call fcvwonce. The petition wae accordingly dismissed.
